Worst Case Scenario

Description
On November 6th, 2021, Jack Eichel took a hit along the boards that hurt his neck. He immediately left the ice, but team doctors decided he could still play. The next day, Jack decided to have surgery. Abandoning over $40000000 he could have earned on his current contract, Jack Eichel retired from the NHL and took control of his health. GM Kevyn Adams expressed disappointment, but pointed to the team's hot start as a sign that things were OK. That success immediately evaporated, of course, and the team's off-season signings looked even worse now. Dridger's year with Florida looked like a mirage, and Butcher has done nothing but struggle. After a trade deadline in which, despite being far out of the playoffs, they not only kept Ristolainen and Miller, but actually traded a draft pick for a 32-year-old centre to bolster their now Eichel-less team, Kevyn Adams was fired.

You're in charge of putting together a roster for 2022-23 now. You have several albatross contracts, Sam Reinhart is definitely leaving after his contract is up, and no one in this organization has experienced success as an adult. Good luck.

Oilers Pass. Savoie is look like a great pick and steal for where they picked him as he is already starting to draw comparison to caufeild and what he did in college.

Oilers would just buy out neal.

Dahlin would be great but we need a center way more than a LD

As good Rasmus can be, wild has zero need for d, & certainly won't be trading their top c prospect for a d player they have no need for

Hire a hitman to take out skinner (in the knees, I’m not a monster) and then send the entire franchise down to the AHL for development. To make the finances work, I’ll get the players to panhandle at street corners during off hours, and sign other panhandlers to AHL league minimum contracts to fill out the rest of the roster. The Pegulas will need some revenue with $19M sitting on the LTIR, as I’m sure not a single fan showing up to any of the AHL games.

I dont think knees is enough. Kyle okposo still drags himself to games and appears to be playing on wooden legs. I like where your heads at though.
