No, Flames dont need a Marner style player. What Tkachuk brings is far more important. Plenty of RHS forwards up for grabs this summer

Ever considered it's also the other way around?

Like maybe the both benefit from playing with each other? Marner was practically as good when he played with JT.

Team had a rough first half of the season, Tkachuk was producing a ppg in the final quarter though once Sutter fully implemented his system 15 in the last 15

Fair point, still, based on linemates, Marner has an advantage, but he still scores far more points.
