Ya I doubt that. Too much from the habs. Olofsson is overated and Poehling is Underrated imo. Sabres accept this in a heartbeat. The funny thing is Drouin could be way better than olofsson once he is out of Montreal. Time will tell though

Olofsson isnt over rated. Hes rated. 50 point sniper. Drouin is older and ufa in 2 years and Poehling is a depth forward at best, the Sabres have 10 others just like him. Same with 31 overall. Olofsson also plays on the right and the Sabres are short RW not left. No reason for the Sabres to gamble, they just keep Olofsson.

you get a pretty comparable player in drouin, and young center who could still be a top 6 guy with the right ice time and team, and a 1st. For a guy who has a little more offensive upside than drouin. Doubt sabres would decline that lol

Stop it. Besides Cozens + Mittelstadt + Ruotsalainen + Asplund - right now before Eichel and Reinhart are traded, Poehling wouldnt even get to play middle 6. Drouin walks in 2 years, so they get a player in the bottom of the 1st round in a bad draft

Drouin would be the first line center right off the bat and has two years left on his deal. You don't know what Poehling's floor or ceiling is right now but after watching him last year he looks primed to be at least the habs third line center next year and you add a first round pick on top of it. And all that for a second line winger at best lol. I think you're the one that needs to grt real. Every post/comment you make on this site is laughable

Olofsson is the best player in the deal by a lot. Nothing enticing in that trade that would make us move a cost controlled 30 goal scorer who is still going to be improving
