    People usually lowball for Rielly, yet Jones gets overpays.

    Both are on expiring deals. But Rielly, unlike Jones, wants to stay. Guys who openly say they’re not coming back generally have less value than guys who say they’ll take pay cuts to stay.

    I’m genuinely curious to know why that is.

    It's because other teams don't overrated Reilly the way toronto does. Jones is just better.

    There's no way Edmonton is absorbing 8.5 M for Keith and Strome. Could take a run at Landeskog or Hamilton for that.

    The fact that Seth Jones has put up the numbers he has while playing on Columbus says a lot. Rielly has had 1 good season on a stacked team and toronto thinks he's the best D man in the league.
