I’m with you man. It’s honestly stupid how Tampa is getting away with this. 1-6 mil I could understand them letting it slip. But the fact it’s like 18 million + is complete crap.

To be fair, my plan wouldn’t work if Price doesn’t bring his A-game in the finals …

They weren’t 18 MILLON OVER. That’s an absurd amount to be over the cap.

The cap was also substantially smaller so percentage of salary cap they were real close and the 18 million number is a f***ing bull**** number

Two wrongs Sticking Out Tongue take away the cup from chicago in 2015 and award it to Tampa, and then disqualify Tampa this year

How is following the rules wrong don't like the rules get everyone to agree to change them, until then build your team so good you can have the 6th best record in the league with your best player out the entire season.

Right now the Habs are losing because they are playing sloppy, turning the puck over and tampa is making them pay every time they do as a good team should. I don't know how many Ovechkins it would take to overcome the Habs boneheaded plays, salary cap or not.

The rules clearly state that ANY form of cap circumvention will result in penalties up to and including forfeiture of games until such time that the team becomes cap compliant. How far do you seriously think Tampa would have gotten if they had to move out 19 Mil in cap? Let's look at the players that would require gone. 9.5 Mil Kutcherov (leading playoff scorer) Gone! Vasilevsky 9.5 Mil (one if the best goalies in the League) Gone! = 19 Mil now how far do the Lightening get having to run McElhinnney, Gibson or Martin as their Starter? Bet they don't even get past Florida in the first round!

I guarantee if Montreal was 18 mil over the cap beating the Bolts 3-0 you be complaining just as much buddy. You’re only arguing it’s fair because of bias of your team

Gaborik nor Nilsson were ever going to play for TB that was basically 3.2 million cash in uninsured contract money for the tightwad Melnyk,so there is 7.5 of it there a little more than Kucherov with plates who could actually play. Chicago made 4TDL Timonenn, Vermette,
Desjardins, TVR. Timonenn, and Vermette were both extremely important players. I never cried once as Patrick Sharp said tonight If Tyler Johnson doesn't break his wrist TB wins the 15 Cup
