Would this be a fair offer for Schmidt? What would it look like if 1-1.5M is retained on top? Genuinely curious

Ya it's definitely fair. Schmidt just fills a bigger need than DeBrusk. You would really have to make it worth our while if you want retention every dollar matters this offseason for the Canucks not really sure what it would be exactly tho

Do not do that Schmidt trade. Going to have to add to that Garland trade a bit.

Zona laughs at that trade and Garland laughs at that contract, he’ll get more in arb.

No thanks to Schmidt, don’t need a soft d man with a bad contract that plays better on the right side.

No to Kase and Goligoski.

Reilly is overpaid.

That defense, or lack of it on the left side, is even softer than last year.
