No thanks. Rather have Comtois, 3oa and the cap space than Marner who’s more pass first. Need a goal scorer not a passer. I don’t think Marner’s contract is a bad as make it out to be tho just not the best fit for the ducks.

a guy like marner to really get zegras going? pretty tempting if ya ask me esp in a relatively weak draft. not saying id for sure do it if i were you guys but thought it was an interesting idea

Pretty sure marner would have lead your team in even strength goals. Just off the top of my head though.

He’s overpaid by about 1m. Not the end of the world.

If I’m Toronto I would probably decline the trade. Ducks need the pick a lot more than the leafs. Unless they have a deal set up to flip it.

IMO, the Ducks would have to add to that deal or Leafs would decline.
