Colorado should absolutely not do anything resembling this. Kadri and Debrusk deals make sense. Use the rest to target guys that help now and in the future if you want to.

The value on the Paul trade is great. In theory I think it gets accepted but irl Ottawa’s trying to take the next step and make a push for the playoffs. They’re the one who should be trying to package picks and prospects for better players. Don’t think this would actually get accepted.

yeah that's true, Ottawa looked great in the second half of the season but it'll be a tough division with Tampa, Florida, Toronto, Montreal and Boston let alone the Metro. I think they should package the picks and prospects they have to get young players with term.
