We're not going to make that trade for Mitch Marner any more than we're going to make it for Jack EIchel.

Note that even though that trade cuts roughly $6.5 million off your cap hit, you're back to less than $300,000 in cap space and only 20 players on the roster.

Oh for sure, I just meant from the sens perspective. Taking on a bottom 6 forward that you dont need and a middling prospect... and you have to give up a 3rd? I feel like that wouldnt get accepted

Edit: Obviously there are bigger fish to fry in the AGM but just my two cents from the sens
