PALMIERI OLEKSIAK MURPHY

Created by: AgentWebster
Team: 2021-22 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 3, 2021
Published: Jul. 3, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
As much as I wanna trade Jake I wanna give him another shot but this time at LW instead of flipflopping back from RW and LW. Both Kase and Ritchie need a new start and we need to get bigger on D. In the games vs the Islanders they really went at McAvoy and that hurt us. With us going after Oleksiak and Murphy we now have have size to go with a puck mover on each D pairing. After Rask comes back we can move Vladar down and still be good with the cap and that's something that a lot of guys are missing with putting together this team.

Chicago laughs out loud while rejecting.

Seattle isn't taking Moore

Giving Palmieri 5 years is a huge mistake

That's a pretty powerful, well-constructed team. I think you'll have to pay more -- substantially more -- for Murphy, especially with any retention, but it makes sense to pay whatever it takes.

Thanks and I wonder if we put Zboril or Clifton in the deal if that would get it done.

I really think it takes a first and Vaakanainen.

That seams like so much for someone that could walk with one year left on his deal.

Can’t see then giving KP 5 X 5. Going to have to overpay Big O but that is serious overpay. No to Kase.

Seattle just takes Lauzon. Period. If you want them to take Moore likely have to give up 21st pick in exchange for 35th to take Moore. Or a 2nd and another piece.

Yeah I think the other way on Kyle for a few reason. One he wants to win and he knows he can't win with the Islanders. He also knows that he can take more then 5.5-6 per and get a cup. He know the Bruins were after him for the trade deadline. The deal also is what the market is (RNH) unless he does not want to win and wants to take the money.

As far as Moore we need to ship him so if not Seattle then someplace else.

You do not want to trade Kase?

I don’t want to sign Kase. If you are going to trade him, trade his rights.

I don’t see KP getting that kind of $ or term at his age coming off a down year.

The problem is, Kase is broken (likely permanently) and Richie is pure trash. They have no business in Chicago, especially that dickhead Richie who broke Roszival's face with a sucker punch (I wish him a very painful die).

So while a 1st and Vaakanainan is massively unfavorable from Boston's perspective, you'd have to offer A LOT to convince Bowman to give up his best defenseman AND retain on him. It's just not feasible.

Ok I thought you were saying it was not enough LOL OK well I did pay on the high end IMO. If we could get him for less then great.

Sorry but that could be the trend in Chicago with Duncan, Kane and JT. All three said they want to retire together in Chicago but I just don't see it and if they do ship them Duncan the first then they will retain.

Lol, nah, if we could get a 4th for Kase i’d be happy, or use him in a package to Seattle to take Moore. 5 concussions in 2.5 years, plays a soft game, mediocre production for the most part. Great advanced metrics….pffft….means little. Rather give the roster spot to someone else.

I'm talking about Murphy here, DK is not worth a 1st and Vaakanainen, not even remotely. And I love Duncs.

Right and you know that if a guy has a year left on his deal and the team is not going to be in the running for the playoffs then they could retain. At what point do you start taking offers on the big three?

Fair play, that is certainly possible. I think they'd even retain on Keith going to the Oil, for the right return. But I just don't see any situation, despite how far from the playoffs they may be, that they want to part with Murphy. If they did, then yeah, at the TDL, a retaining trade is certainly possible. I just don't think it's likely at all. Without Murph, they'd be an absolute, unbearable clown car.

As for the Toews and Kane, I am sure Bowman is always listening to offers, at least on Kane... Because he'd still bring in a massive haul. But it is ultimately up to the players themselves, and I don't think either has any desire to leave the city. At least not in the next 3 years, after that, their deals are up and who knows?

What’s your solution then for second line right winger with playoff experience that’s a RHS?

1. I don’t think they need one.
2. Not a 30 year old power forward showing signs of decline for 5 years.

I bet Tatar could be snagged on a one year deal.
