I'm not for the Reinhart trade...Glass hasn't progressed and we have Mitts.
If it's that low a first then a better roster player has to be included

Wouldn't do the Eichel trade either...to little coming back considering Byfield is off limits Turcotte and 8OA has to be starters besides why are we adding that much to Eichel?

I don't think much of Turcotte. I am attempting to temper my expectations on a return. What does Glass and Mittelstadt have to do with each other? Plenty of guys get converted to wing and almost everyone here is unproven outside of 2 dozen games. with Granato.

You're giving up the best player for nothing...Det garnered way more for the same type of player in Mantha (stats are almost identical) who doesn't play center...only difference is Mantha has 3yrs of term to one for Reinhart but considering you have him signed then the Sabres get more in my opinion. A good roster player should be coming back and also since Reinhart is garnering high volume of interest (Friedman) that offer can be topped with ease

I suppose we shall see. Buffalo has little leverage in a trade. Reinhart can simply go to arbitration and walk to UFA. In that way, it is nothing like the Mantha trade. The contract extension is signed with Vegas. I think Glass still has value and that Granato can bring out his potential.

If Friedman is correct and there are plenty of teams interested in Rinehart then it becomes a bidding war, I think if Vancouver offered 9OA and a lesser prospect plus Roussel as a cap dump, Adams jumps at that (Don't know if JB would offer that). It sounds like Adams likes this draft and he wants to get high draft picks in the Eichel and Rinehart trades. I think he has a plan and is willing to stick to it. Hope it works out for us as fans.

Maybe you are right. I guess we shall see. BTW, it's a 2022 from Vegas a very very deep draft and glass. Not just 9th overall in a bad draft and a cap dump

Vilardi and glass both make me cringe, they both look like the kernels that wont pop. I think turcotte has shown more, he should be on the table, but i agree that theres risk with him too. Plus youve added two assets in bryson and olofsson and taken back two cap dumps in maatta and quick. If all you are getting for reinhart is a late first in next years draft and glass, its not worth rushing it, thats a deadline return next season. If anaheim is also rebuilding and not in play for eichel or reinhart, why do they need ristolainen, granted its only henrique coming back, but why do they bother? Jersey i think wants luke hughes at 4, i dont see them taking some stuff to take bpa at 8. You could be close though, i hope not, the LA and vegas deals are awfully favorable to those teams, i dont see jersey or anaheim having much interest in their deals though.

Anaheim gets rid of 3 years of henrique for one year of ristolainen (who they can trade or resign). Buffalo gets a babysitter for the forward group who might have a little left in the tank.

I like glass and vilardi. We shall see

I realize that but it's still going to be near 30 you just might get a slightly better player in 22, if there is a stampede for Reinhart once Eichel is gone than I see a better return on Reinhart. He's durable, probably a guaranteed 23-27 goals a season and no baggage.

I guess I view a 2022 late 1st and Glass as better than 2021 9th overall and a cap dump

Devils might trade down but it depends on who's available
