Honestly, probably the best offer I have seen for Eichel. The Flyers should be better based on their draft record, so they are a team I could see being in on Eichel but that I don't think I've heard anything about.

Kudos for an exceptionally balanced Jack Eichel trade. I think this is the kind of return Sabres fans might actually be OK with.

My question is on Sanheim, tho listed as a RD he is a natural LHD something the Sabres have plenty of. Was he playing the right side out of need? How about a throw in Wade Allison?

Sanheim is predominantly a left side dman. Hadn't even realized they listed him as RD- must have been due to playing with Provorov for a good chunk of the season. I would say he ~can~ play the right side but it's not his natural spot.

Wade Allison in not a "throw in" in any trade! He very well could play in out top 6 this year.
