Initial Creation Date: Jul. 4, 2021

Description
The Habs are built to be a playoff team.

They just lack 1 thing. A true 1C. They need a 1C. Which is why I think Eichel would be a good fit.

Explanation on the Danault signing. This is like the RNH signing. Give term and 5M.

I agree they are not with 4 other pieces, but the only way they are trading Eichel is if they get that 1c. If you are not going to give up your best prospect, then don’t phone, because it’s not even fair if they don’t get your best prospect.

Suzuki isn't a prospect in this scenario. Buffalo could legit have Cozens, KK, Beniers and Middletad for the next decade down the middle with a potential sick top 4. And thats excluding the multiple first round picks coming in very deep drafts and excluding what they will get from a Reinhardt and Risto deals. They would finally be set for years. But imo I doubt they get anywheres close to this return based off the rumours out there

The rumours are nuts honestly. They are asking for way too much… if they want to trade him, they have to lower the asking price a bit. But, no. In my opinion, Kotkaniemi is not a starting piece…. 1cs are, and Kotkaniemi is not going to be a 1c.

Oh yes, you looked into yoir crystal ball and projected that the 20 year old center won't be a 1c lol. He is 20 bro and shows signs of being a 1c. If he becomes that or not remains to be seen but at the very least his floor is a number 2 center. And Buffalo isn't getting a forsure number 1c back btw, otherwise why would any team trade away their young number 1 C for a guy making 10mil with a pending abnormal next surgery? Lol. Get real

Have you even watched Kotkaniemi, and looked at his stats?? He does not play like a potential 1c. Not even close… Suzuki is the starting piece or don’t even bother. Of course they won’t get an proven 1c back, but they will get someone with the potential to be one, and that plays like one. Haha, what you said is funny, especially since you think you can get Eichel with having Kotkaniemi as the starter. And you tell me to get real ahah.

You just contradicted yourself in your own statement lol. Suzuki is a future number 1 c, if he isn't there already. KK would be a part of a package that essentially is 5 first round pick calibre players. And I've watched KK every game essentially lol. He is 20 years old and already a legit 3rd line center currently. 20 years old!!! Lol. I'll remember your reponses when Eichel gets a return less than this.

What responses? Good luck finding my responses haha! Anyways, I never agreed to giving Buffalo less than what he is actually worth, and maybe you need to see what other teams are willing to give, and actually not overvalue your own players.

I’m done talking about this. See yah.

These responses dummy lol. We will never see what other teams have offered, we will only see what he actually gets. And clearly you're underestimating a 10mil cap hit along with a pending neck surgery lol
