Flames don't consider that for a nano second.

Absolutely nothing can fix this trade. Doughty would be 3rd pairing for Flames. Tkachuk isn't available. Flames have no use for Doughty

add byfield, turcotte, and your next 5 1sts and maybe the flames consider that LMAO what possessed you to think you can get an elite winger for one of the worst contracts in the league?

TB says No thanks. We'll keep the 650k cap space and 3 time in a row Stanley Cup champion. First player since 83 Islanders players to do it.

As much as I like Doughty and love the Kings, that trade (or anything like it) ain't ever happening.

Sean Walker for three useless pieces of flotsam is a bad idea, too.

My first thought: You have to know the Flames are not doing that silliness.

My second thought: If you want to toss out Walker so dirt cheap, please do give the Blues a call. We'll top that haul easy.

Pens would take Cal Pettersson for Drew OConnor and a 4th.

C.Grundstrom has no value at all to them. They have players like Angello(25), Lafferty(26), Zohorna(25), OConnor(22) who the Pens organization would give PT to over Grundstrom. Let alone trade for him.

OConnor is 22 years old, 6’3, 210 pounds. This was his 1st pro season. Was the Ivy League “Player of the Year” last season. This season was his 1st pro season and the Pens organization raved about him.

He got PT with the Pens(played 10 games) and was up and down on the practice squad. In the AHL he had 19 points in 29 games too.

For OConnor and a 4th round pick, the Pens would need something else. Maybe Aki Thomas.

I personally would like OConnor and a 2nd for J.Quick and about 1.8M retained. Take Quick to 4M per.

If you are gonna bury his contract in the AHL and take that cap hit(which he would never clear waivers, neither would D.Brown), u might as well trade him and retain 1.8M for this upcoming and next. You would save cap space rather than burying the contract and have all that dead money against the cap.
