Eriksson wouldn't play for Detroit and is owed 4M. I think It'll take two 2nd's at minimum for Detroit to take him, but more likely they'd hold out for a 1st. A 2nd + 3rd just isn't worth 4 million dollars if they're also not getting any on ice value from Eriksson. Odds are neither pick would even become an NHL player

Petey is going to be a top 5 centre right up there with Matthews. I don’t see the point to trade two star players. Canucks don’t see the need to trade stars while also giving up other core pieces as well.
