Arizona’s best bet is to try and trade him at the TD and get a late 1st from a contender. But that’s risky. He could get injured or possibly contending teams are looking for other things at the TD this year.

Right now, in my opinion, they wouldn’t get two 2nds. I would say a “B” prospect and a mid round pick. Like a 4th or 5th. Give or take. But not much more and not much less.

Kemper value is hard to judge as at this point he’s a rental, unless he’s willing to sign a extension as part of the trade it doesn’t make much sense for Edmonton where there is options in the UFA market that could be signed for similar money and most importantly term and you don’t need to give up valuable assets

I like Kuemper but I was just looking at his stats and he’s already 31, ideally you’d like to sign a guy to a 5 yr deal if your bring in a starter but that takes him to 36, risky signing a guy to that term, where the UFA guys are 27

i dont see many as good as him imo but i could that then them signing Anderson to a 2 year "prove it" deal

I’d sign Ullmark or Drieger before I signed Freddy and if it’s a prove it deal it’s for 1 yr doesn’t work for Edmonton
