Malenstyn 23 and Foegele 25 replaces Hagelin 32 and Sheary 29

Chara 44 out Feharvary 21

Schmidt over Dillion and Lundqvist over Anderson save 1 year each. ( not huge I know)

Some youth pieces without a huge turnover of the roster.

Thought behind this was move was change of scenery for Kuzy and playing with a talented Russian in Kaprizov. Also try to sweeten the place for him to stay.

Wild pass on him. He's just one of those players wild especially under GM Bill Guerin won't have interest.

Also, this trade doesn't work for cap reasons

I’m not saying his value is over these guys, but I think Montreal will match your offer or more. I see him signing for 7x4.5 or 6x5 to stay in mtl.

But IMO his value is around 5x4.25
