Ducks shouldn't trade their 2022 first

NY won't trade Laf or Kaako
Anaheim won't trade Drysdale of Zegras
LA won't trade Byfield

No one is trading their best prospect/young player for an injured Eichel

Add to that point eichel wants out and it’s pretty obvious and the teams with a plus prospects aren’t in a position to deal those a plus prospects for eichel.

Rangers are possibly the closest and I could see moving kakko.

End of day best package is probably going to knights with krebs, firsts and smith and maybe another prospect. Teams that are barely playoff teams don’t make huge trades for 10,000,000 contracts where they may get only two good years out of it

an injured eichel is still better than any of the players you have mentioned above. he's a franchise center. those don't go for subpar pieces bud.

If he's injured that bad why are the ducks trading for him? why would they want an injured and damaged player?
