I could see WSH trading DIllon or Kempny this summer. Not likely Orlov. As good as Yamamoto is, WSH already has three top-six RWs in Oshie, Wilson, and Mantha. They're more likely to trade Oshie than to trade for Yamamoto, and I don't think they'll trade Oshie, but for Yam and Jones, who knows?

IF that deal does get Reinhart from Buffalo, he'll want/deserves more money

I wish there were three team trades here because I can see a Seth Jones for kuznetzov being the basis of another big trade for Washington to clear space for ovi and shake up things a little bit. I wouldn’t mind Dillon either but not at the price of yams and Jones lol

Totally fair for the term. I could see that money on a 1-2 ur bridge with flat cap, but you right. If I buy UFa years that number is probably starting near 6

Lots of people make three-team trades on here by typing "three way trade" in the description of two trades.

I'm curious what a Jones/Kuznetsov is worth to Edmonton. And which of them you think the Oilers want. I'd say both, but that'd be expensive.

For WSH to add a 28pt defenseman they'd probably want to have a plan to trade Schultz who just got 27 points at a better cap hit, but we know Schultz likes the OIlers, so that's not a problem.

Simpler to just make one big trade to send Kuznetsov and Schultz to Edmonton, and let Columbus keep trying to work out a contract with Jones. But maybe Jones and Yam are worth Kuznetsov and Schultz? I don't know. Can Yam play 2C if McMichael isn't ready?

I meant Jones goes to Washington and kuz to Columbus possibly with other pieces being added there. I honestly see the caps doing a retooling to have one final hoorah with ovi and backstrom.

Also Seth Jones brings far more to the table compared to Justin Schultz

Some years, sure. He's more consistent. This year he got worse points/60, worse cost per point, and his plus/minus was worse by 30. I think WSH might expose Schultz to expansion to protect Vanecek, because of age, but Schultz played like a legit #1 (edit: offensive) D this year. Don't forget it.

I agree Kuznetsov might be more excited about that if it means he's going to Edmonton to play with McDavid or Draisaitl, rather than going to Columbus to try to magically resurrect Patrick Laine. WSH might consider it if they're getting a #2 center.
