I like the idea but seems unlikely DAL would willingly trade away Klingberg if they know Oleksiak is also walking.

I would also trade Copp, put Vesalainen in his spot on the 3rd, and spend the money on a more experienced, hard-playing middle-6 winger like Hyman or Coleman.

Yeah it’s highly unlikely that they trade klingberg with Oleksiak walking. Could be a deadline option depending on where Dallas is.

I agree on using Copps money elsewhere, Unless he commits to a long term deal, which seems unlikely with who his agent is and previous contract negotiations already hitting arbitration. I think copps days as a jet are over, likely to be moved to an American team before the season starts. I wouldn’t mind getting a guy like hyman. Provides a really nice option to replace Perfetti if he isn’t fully ready.

I’d also like to see the Jets look at Martinez on a 1-2 year deal. He can play both sides, and he is great in all areas of the game.

I like it! Would be nice to have martinez over McCabe but He’s likely more expensive.

If A Mart wanted a 5M one year, I would do it but the 4-4.5M over a few years is too exp
