Chicago trade is a piece short, Edmonton would have to give up more to get Strome and have Chicago take Koskinen.
Vancouver is not a team that can eat cap.
CBJ would need more to take on the Kassian contract. Nothing really of value here to get Columbus to give up their starter.
Smith probably gets a bonus rich contract closer to $2mil.
Oilers are another quick out if we're counting on 2 rookies to be our bottom 6 centres. Would be better off sacrificing one of the wing signings to get a true 3C.

You must be thinking of Joonas Korpisalo. Elvis Merzlikins is their starting goaltender.

I think Anaheim is interested in a more immediate and more suitable package. A 2022 second-rounder won't be cracking the roster until 2025, and we have at least four better prospects than Samorukov at LD (Mahura, Guhle, LaCombe and Thrun).
