Bode Wilde is sent to the Blues, not Bellows

Detroit gets Bellows for retaining half for 2 years
St. Louis gets Wilde and WAS 1st
Islanders get Tarasenko at half retained

There might have to be a later pick or 2 sent somewhere to get values equal

I kinda think the Caps would prefer something around Svechkinkov, Tarasenko, and Rasmussen, but I will say that Holway would immediately be the Caps' best RHD prospect under contract. Also their worst, but still.

As an islanders fan im not really interested in tarasenko both bc of cap and price, but this trade looks pretty interesting. Would you do it if it was salo or bolduc instead of wilde.

Realistically I don't see any of these 3 teams accepting this.

FYI With 3 way trades it is much easier to use Trade Machine and the post a link in the comments.

Love the Tarasenko concept but not too sure the Blues would accept, maybe leaving Vince Dunn out of the trade and signing a UFA like Martinez or McCabe instead, great trades though.

I don't think the Isles would do it if it was Salo or Bolduc. Wilde hasn't put up much production at the AHL level, to the point that Isles beat-writers have asked around the league and been told by execs of other teams that his value has tanked. Plus, the Isles have their right side pretty much locked up for the foreseeable future with Pulock, Dobson, and Mayfield while spots on the left may be open for Bolduc or Salo as soon as next year.

Mayfields a ufa in 2 years and they might not have the $ to keep him. Also if his value tanked move one of the forward prospects that dont have much value.

The values are off but the idea is interesting. Detroit comes out if this with a somewhat problematic roster so it needs some work.
