Chicago could buy out Neal and save themselves 4 million over what they would have paid Keith this season alone. Plus they get Jones.

Chicago would rather have Koskinen if we were to take one of the two a buyout would take up cap for four years unnecessarily and Neal wouldn’t be as useful as Koskinen as Chicago is looking for a veteran goalie to help push Lankinen

DeBrusk for a 2nd NOT 1st

Probably especially after the Arvidsson trade, but there is nobody in the bottom half of this years 1st i’d trade Debrusk 1 for 1 for either. And you don’t have a 2nd and we are not waiting a year for it. So i’d rather just hold him or trade him for the defenseman they do need. And no that is not Jones/Bear/Lagesson/Samorukov either.

I'd go 2nd and a 3rd too for DeBrusk

All huge overpayments aside from the Chicago trade. Thats one of the few deals i'd consider, although I don't get why we are adding on Neal for Keith. Similar contracts, and although Keith is probably a little more useful, he wants to get traded west so theres less bargaining power by the Blackhawks.

Thats an asinine return for Reinhart. Broberg, Yamamoto and a 1st?? There are very few players in the league worth that kind of return. Reinhart is good, but not that good.

A 1st for Debrusk is more than I would be willing to pay. A 2nd and a bottom 6 roster player is the most I would do. Watching him play doesn't really interest me, but he definitely has the skill to potentially fit in with McDavid.
