I think the bruins signing Frederic is a dead giveaway that he will be protected.

The fact they said lots of teams were calling about him and didn't trade him is the give away. I will be irate if they don't protect and didn't deal him at the deadline.

It's Lauzon. He is the youngest with the most upside. Had a rough playoff but played with a broken/surgically repaired hand against Isles. I guess maybe RItchie or Kase if Seattle is feeling brazin.

Agreed. I think it’s 95% lauzon with a slim chance of Clifton, and an even smaller chance of kase.

I don't see Clifton. He is what he is. He is a perfect bottom pairing guy/7th. He isn't young at 26. I don't see him ever really developing into a 2nd pair guy. He can spot there, but the longer he plays up the more he gets exposed. Lauzon, Ritchie and Kase have the most potential IMO.

Kase won't get qualified. I could see Seattle offering a larger 1 year deal in hopes he can stay healthy long enough to deal him for a pick at the deadline.
