Reasonable enough

Description
Some of the value might be a bit off. I think this team fights for a playoff spot in a weak Pacific before breaking out big time in 2022/23

Trades
1.
VAN
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (MTL)
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
I like Rathbone but a team cannot win with this many undersized D-Men. His skillset is redundant because of Hughes
2.
VAN
  1. Graves, Ryan
Additional Details:
We really need defensively oriented D-Men. Is a good guy to have as the 4th best defenseman in your top-4
COL
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
A good player but Graves is not of huge importance to Colorado from what I know. The pick+cap is probably more valuable.
3.
VAN

    CHI
    1. Roussel, Antoine
    2. 2021 5th round pick (VAN)
    Additional Details:
Still can offer some leadership and grit. Could go to any team.

TB is going to need that under minimum production. 12 goals in 56 games with 4th line minutes a 3 doesn't do it.

Not really sure because I think this is a case of either blow me away with an offer or I keep the player I really need type thing.

Fair enough. I think it there is no way to get a deal done I would just bridge Petey and use the extra money to sign someone like Nosek or Haula in FA

VAN would move Juolevi before Rathbone.

Honestly I don't think MTL does that, they already have a few undersized LD in Harris/Romanov/Struble. They might have more interest in Juolevi since he has a bigger body

It would need to be another team because we not taking Roussell for a 5th.

No point in trading rathbone. Since when does having two young defensemen with offensive talent hurt? Who are you protecting for d men. I don’t sees Schmidt sticking around and hamonic is not willing to take a discount this time around… Reasonable is not the word I would put for this ACGM…

I dont think we should keep Rathbone. You need size on D to win. Having two undersized D-Men just is not worth it. Plus as I said everything Rathbone can do Hughes can do better so I do not see the point in having both. Admittedly I would rather trade him for a player but I do not think we shoudl keep him

Ok but 2 small d men isn’t much. If you find some bigger players to play with them it’s no big deal. I have absolutely not problem with having Hughes and Rathbone on the left side of defense. We have tried size before it doesn’t work. Gudbranson sad awful, Myers defense hasn’t been stellar. The game is not about size and strength now it’s about skill. I believe he has what he takes to play and we need more skilled players like him.

There is absolutely no need to trade Rathbone. This kid is going to easily be a top 4 D with offence and good D. For a kid that still has waiver eligibility, this is a mind boggling approach.

My point exactly. I see no rational reason to trade rathbone. Idk what that person is going on about and I have no idea why he wants to get rid of rathbone….
