Unless dougie is coming to Toronto for 6.5mil or less, Toronto isn’t the place for him.

Why do people keep trading Reilly like he has multiple years remaining?

I don't like Calgary but they have zero reason to make that trade. He doesn't do much for them

One year of Rielly is worth way less than 3 years of Lindholm

I imagine it'll be a sign and trade kind of deal.

Just based it off an article I read. The trade is not set in stone was just an idea and a look for the leafs

They are both being traded because one doesn’t want to sign with his team long term, the other should not resign long term with his team due to cap issues. Both players make sense in moving on

He is our 1c. We would want a better one coming back. Lindholm isn't available for less. Plus we have no need for Reilly

Both make sense being traded but some of these packages make zero sense whatsoever

Oh this trade is terrible, not questioning that at all. Lindholm is amazing, on a ridiculous good deal, also makes no sense for Calgary to trade him.

He could be signed for 8 years and Flames wouldn't consider that, Lindholm has far more value than Rielly
