Description

I realize this is unrealistic. I just wanted to explore a hypothetical that had a very potent 1st line. Imagine Eichel gets his surgery and he’s 100% healthy and completely re-invigorated. I don’t think I’d ever miss a game purely because of that 1st line.

Yea parise with rentention for a solid prospect like beckman, 1st and 2nd would be about right I think.

I know, it was just a hypothetical to get Eichel and put together an elite 1st line. There’s much about this that doesn’t work, but it was just a fun exercise.

I’m sick to death of eichel trades for the wild. I can’t imagine anyone still is finding them fascinating. Hate seeing wild acgm’s with buffalo trades at this point.

Can't do the retention then. You can't retain salary on an expansion pick and Beckman is exempt. Seattle would have to take his whole contract or nothing unless Parise is being moved as part of a trade with another eligible player being selected. This also applies if the plan is for Seattle to buy out his contract since they can't buy out any contract they select as an expansion pick until next summer.
