Description
Little baby re tool. Pavs is the kid whisperer. Masch and Damiani won’t be the new JRob and Hintz obviously but I could see that line tearing up some softer competition especially with Harley and Bear. Benn stays at center. Fox gets his shot with better line mates. I should probably trade Kero so Bones doesn’t play him on the second line over Dell but oh well

This is def a quality for quantity trade but I think it works for both sides. I feel like the picks aren’t good enough but a first round pick is too much….? Dallas gets Klinger leaving insurance and a high end third pair. Edmonton gets affordable depth and some picks

No way the Oilers make that trade. Bear will top four on defense this upcoming year.

Dellandrea to the 4th line, Pavelski to the top line, Seguin to the 2nd line.

All about how you want to balance things. I don’t see Bones sending the all kid fourth line out much

Opinions vary. I’ve seen some get upset at the thought of trading him at all. I’ve seen some willing to swap him for Dickinson lol

And that's fine. I'd rather give them sheltered minutes for all 3 of them in their rookie year than torpedo the TOI/g of the best forwards on our roster. This team needs every drop of offense that they can find, and breaking up the Stars best line from last season (Robertson-Hintz-Pavelski) isn't too ideal.

Reality is the Oilers don't have anyone to backfill his spot and getting free agents here isn't easy, We currently have 2 NHL quality RHD signed (Bear/Bouchard) and are likely to re-sign Larsson and let Barrie walk. I don't like the idea of having Barrie and Bouchard in the line-up, need more than 1 RHD that plays defense. Unless there's something else that would bring in a top 4 RHD to Edmonton, they just don't have the depth to deal Bear.

My guess is that Coleman and Goodrow outpriced themselves with their PO performance.

Maybe we should look elsewhere for third line material.

Lots of people on here saying trade Bear but the narrative from the team isn't saying this.

For sure. They shouldn’t trade him. But teams do dumb stuff all the time lol
