Ducks easily decline, If they trade Comtois its for Eichel, they dont move him for anyone else

Canes decline. They essentially have the same player in Foegele that they don’t have room for and are going to trade. Maybe this applies to any team interested tho

Didnt Foegel just say he wanted out? Or am I dreaming that? That was my basis for the trade lol

Yeah he wants an expanded role and the Canes don’t have the room for him in top 6, and they can replace him more cheaply with some good looking prospects coming thru.

My point was they won’t want Lekhonen bc in my view he’s a similar player to Foegele who we don’t need a replacement for unless it’s an upgrade.
