I can't see MTL trading KK but they might have interest in Patrick tbh since he kinda fits the age group of the younger core but I have no idea if PHI wants to move on from him and what his value is.

I mean, we definitely don't know that unless you're Chuck Fletcher in disguise....but I think they could be motivated. This is Philly after all, we like knee jerk trades.

Not entirely, but knowing that MTL is lacking in centers should Danault walk and the fact they used a third overall to bring KK in, I can't see them moving the guy for nothing short of overpayment.

I dont see a scenario where those two being the focal point accomplishes a trade because the value difference is pretty vast. Nolan has 9 points in the last 2 seasons and is a going concern. Even that 14th overall pick isnt bridging that gap.

Could I see MB throwing out a 2nd or 3rd as a flier on him. Sure.

Patrick is a risky asset that hasnt been able to stay in the lineup with good health. Kotkaniemi has also showed more promise.
