No, I'd rather have Khovanov and a 2nd than McCann

As a C, you don't want McCann. PIT would like that 1st back though...

I would be ok with B.Menell, a 2nd(2021)and a 5th(2021) for McCann.

I would rather have Khovanov. The jury may still be out on if he will be good or if he'll be a bust, but I want to at least find out. We know what McCann is and he's a borderline 2C/3C. I'd like McCann but I'd rather trade a wing prospect for him (since that's the only position we have a surplus of).

Wild are keeping menell. 2nd is too much for J.mccann

Lol. Last season had 32 points in 43 games(.75PPG). And two back to back 35 points seasons the previous 2 seasons.

19 goals, 14 goals, and 14 goals. And the one 14 goal season he played C on a bad 3rd line in a shortened season too. Had to do all the playmaking for his bad linemates. His scoring suffered but had more assists.

McCann was a analytics darling last season too. Plays a good 200 foot game. Can also move up and down in the line-up as needed.

And he just turned 25 last month. Has 1st round pedigree. A 2nd round pick is too much, not so much.

Minnesota fans had McCann for Grennway trades on their ACGMs. And I don’t think Menell is signing in Minnesota. Good Luck with that.

I agree, I think McCann is worth more than people give him credit for. I think this is a decently fair deal. If the Wild can sign Menell I don’t see him being traded in the near future.
