Just added Tarasenko and Eichel to the team, Good luck signing Barkov next summer. And no freaking way is Yandle waiving his NMC for Buffalo. And besides that doesn't even come close to getting Jack Eichel anyways. 10 years of dead money on the books for Bobrovsky in a flat cap environment. Even the Panthers ownership isn't that stupid.

Not only does Yandle not waive is no movement clause to go to Buffalo, they don’t need him. If you want to make an in division trade for Jack Eichel i’m pretty sure it would have to look like this:
To Florida: Jack Eichel
To Buffalo: Tippett, Lundell, Bennett, 2022 1st rounder

Not nearly enough for Buffalo to trade Eichel let alone in the division

Florida doesn’t do either the Blues or Sabres trades.

Ridiculous or not an in division trade is going to cost more. Seeing as you only paid a second round pick for Bennett, just because he played well doesn’t mean you’re really losing much. Tippett is being wasted on the fourth line in this line up. Lundell is absolutely necessary to even begin the conversation. For that matter what about Mason Marchment? He’s not even in this lineup.

Driedger finally at 27 gets a chance to get $$🤑$$

...and he accepts 2 years at 1.6M?

To be a backup also?

Hey now 🤨

If he was a long time FLA veteran with 10s of millions of career earnings and a set legacy he *might* do that but he can easily get double that cap hit asap...

Barely

Good 3rd liners are important

Also that return is as close to nothing as possible

It's a bag of pucks with a lot of pucks in it

It's basically just future considerations
