    You and your taking on bad contracts. When will you take on Burns' contract in one of these?

    All joking aside I would think about OEL with retention, but straight up it is too much cap for a player that should be stuck behind Slavin for his entire time as a Hurricane. Personally, I would rather we overpay someone like Alec Martinez short-term in free agency instead of sending prospects (even though these prospects wouldn't hurt too much to lose).

    LOL! Burns' contract is long and expensive but he still produces offensively! Thanks for giving me an idea! \sarc

    Too long to have that cap hit for OEL. Feels like we’re giving away too many assets without retention there.
