Your planning is great in my books, taking a few risks with taking with Tarasenko and Patrick with their injury backgrounds but you just never know. Noticed you decided not to sign Patrick to a contract or was that just a mistake. I would imagine $1.5 for 2 years would be a reasonable offer to him.

I dont think calgary can afford to move Tkachuk in a deal for a 30 year winger with injury problems. They can get a much better return than that, that doesnt bring so much risk with it, i dont think they would have to settle for anything close to that.

There are a lot of fans in STL who would love to have Matthew Tkachuk and the Blues need a top-6 LW, but I think Calgary will require more to move him, at least an additional 1RD pick and a prospect. Also, not sure that Tarasenko will accept a move to Calgary.
