Realistically speaking, the leafs seemed to struggle with depth scoring, I feel like trading away someone like Robertson would be the opposite of the direction they want to go in. I can see the Lili added in alongside a higher pick. Maybe even dermott for bertuzzi+a pick

I think that's a good fair offer, but personally I would rather a package be l around Sandin, that's just me though

Thinking for both teams, although Sandin would be hard to lose, I think he needs to replace Robertson, I think Toronto could really use a guy like him to step into the line up and add scoring depth. Have Dermott signed to fill the hole for Sandin. Liljegren can play his right side.

What's Nicholas Robertson's ceiling? Liljegren is a no go as we're set at RD Detroit needs LD help not RD help and no Dermott isn't the answer. I don't see the Leafs being a good trading partner for Bertuzzi. but i trust Yzerman in everything he does.

Like it or not Tyler Bertuzzi probably cost you Robertson+Sandin+Toronto's 2022 1st round pick. It's a divisional rival and Bertuzzi wont come cheap

Robertson's ceiling i believe is a 30-40 goal scorer, potentially even 50

I think this is pretty fair, Robertson/amirov either one of them and this package is pretty good. I'd love hallinder over steeves, but not end of the world

Well then i 100% see Yzerman asking for him as part of a deal for Bertuzzi and since we need LD help pretty sure he'd ask for Sandin as well. Bertuzzi dealt within the division wont be cheap it will be painful if Dubas truly wants him.

I would love to see that trade but I don't know if they really want to part with Robertson. I'm also thinking we do eventually take back an Engvall or mikheyev, my preference would be mikheyev.

If i'm Yzerman nothing short of Robertson+Sandin will do. fits a need for us a potential 30-40 goal guy in Robertson and LD in Sandin that would be my asking price.

Im sorry but u are overvaluing him. Robertson scored the most goals in the OHL, Sandin is a top 10 defensive prospect in the NHL along with a first. That is 3 first round picks dude. Bertuzzi is good, but not that good. Robertson Sandin and a First can get u an extremely elite player. That can get u a guy that puts up 75 points in a season, which still isnt even fair considering Robertson scored the most goals in the OHL and Sandin is an elite defender expected in the future to put up around 65 points in his prime. Just doesn't make sense. Maybe Amirov a first and a second. I knok Kyle Dubas looks dumb, but cmon, hes not doing that unless its for an extremely elite player. Just think of it in ur perspective, u guys like to say that ohhh Yzerman isnt doing this and that and so on. If u had the guy who scored the most Goals in the OHL, and an elite defensive prospect, along with a first, u wouldn't trade that for a guy who can put up 55 points, who plays a style that can easily cause injury's. I know he means alot to ur team, but that would be one of the worst overpayments in NHL history.

Robertson scored the most goals in the OHL last year, and was on pace for 60, being up there with Tavares and Kane. They are not trading him.

Then a trade doesn't happen. Robertson scored the most goals in the OHL last year and was on pace for 60. Sandin is the future of the leafs D and is expected to be apart of the leagues best D in the coming years. No way.

Fine we'll keep Bertuzzi, Because outside of Robertson and Sandin you have nothing to offer us for Bertuzzi.

This is a pretty balanced offer and Detroit would consider it.
