Description

Rangers have cap room this year but next off season have to pay Fox, Mika, Lafrenniere....maybe Buch shakes free knowing they have big contracts coming for those guys.

Yammo will be affordable, proven to be a middle 6 winger with some upside...Oilers 2nd best forward prospect and a good pick....that is the thinking anyway..Rangers likely hate it but he is a guy I would love the Oilers to have on their team.

JP can play the disruptor forechecker for Drai line and upgrade size as well. Hoffman is only there to shoot for Connor

Room for some trade deadline acquisitions too

Hoffman/Martinex will get more money.
Perry has expressed interest in staying in Montreal, Getzlaf wants to stay in SW USA.
There's quantity of "good" pieces in the NYR trade but no "core" piece that they'll want in order to let go of Buchnevich.

Did you miss the part where there was 3M plus of cap room this year and about 10M next year with lots of room to sign JP and Nurse to extensions and only left filling out bottom of roster spots??
