So is there a chance one of the kids out play Bellemare or Perry?

I'd say no chance either don't make the team. Perry was on Montreal's taxi squad at times last season, but we didn't give him a 2 year deal just to waive him immediately.

What happens with Volkov, Lind, and Gadjovich should give us a good idea of what will happen if Raddysh or Katchouk end up on waivers.

Gadjovich hasn't looked good in Vancouver this preseason. Suffering from a weird development season I think.

Whenever opening night rosters are due. I am not sure when that is.

Curtis McElhinney has retired from the NHL. I would love to say he was good for us, but let's be honest. He really wasn't. A good career for him either way. He was pretty good for Toronto

I could have sworn he retired a few weeks ago.

Regardless, I'm happy he was able to go out with 2 Cups back-to-back. Last season was rough, but he helped take the load off Vasy. Sadly I will always remember him for his bland mask design Sticking Out Tongue

I should take my like back tears of joy

But I'm very surprised that he was the only one claimed.

GMs can't resist big gritty net front players no matter how bad they may be.

Rosters due Monday.

I didn't see the game tonight as I'm at the Rays-Red Sox game, but it looks like Raddysh had a nice feed to Maroon for his goal. Not sure outside of that how Katchouk and Raddysh looked. They should probably get another chance Saturday to make a final impression.

I also take it that Perry is scoring 50 goals for us this season if his scoring rate carries over into the regular season.

Maybe it's settled after tonight who's on the roster?

Fantastic night for the Bolts. Stamkos scored two power play goals in the span of 27 seconds, Corey Perry also lit the lamp twice, and Kuch, Point and Sergachev had two assists each. One more preseason game to go (on Saturday) before OPENING NIGHT, BABY!!!

(To add a visual aid, here's tonight in a nutshellsmile

Ryfors sent down to Syracuse. Down to Raddysh/Katchouk for the final spot.

Ryfors was never going to work with his cap hit. I read Cooper stopped a drill today to yell at Raddysh grimace Just being hard on him because he wants him to succeed, but probably want that to happen at the beginning of camp and not towards the end.

With Foote possibly missing time, this could work until Foote comes back or a Dman gets injured and the need to call one up arises. Theoretically, the likelihood of teams looking to add unproven prospects a week or so into the season would be less if we then waived one of the 3 then instead of before opening night.

Raddysh getting the nod in the final preseason game 👀

With Foote still sporting a red jersey I think we're going to try to roster all 3 roster candidates for as long as possible until Foote returns or an injury forces a defensive call up.

This late in the game, is it Katchouk with Raddysh for the last chance to prove himself or Raddysh's spot to lose.

It seems they're preferring to play everyone at theirs natural positions. Katchouk is a natural LW, and BB and Raddysh are natural RWs. As long as Perry is playing up on the 3rd line the spot that is open is the 4RW spot, and I do personally think that's a good fit for Raddysh. I think Katchouk would excel more on a line of Katchouk-Colton-Joseph. I have no idea what to think at this point. We'll know within a day or two for sure.

They put Stamkos back on the 2nd at the start of the 2nd.
