I don't know. I'm very confused about what the hold up is. Both sides know what the max is we can give him, term shouldn't be an issue, and we cannot save cap space since we'll be in LTIR regardless.

If it goes to arbitration and we get a number that we like, then we'll have it be a 2 year deal. If he signs before arbitration then probably a 1 year deal.


But Tampa's lack of cap space isn't Colton's problem if he think he's should get paid.

I don't think the comparables support a hypothetical "I should be paid" narrative for Colton. Could be why we qualified him instead of not qualifying like in the case of Verhaeghe.

I think both sides are going to roll the dice with arbitration and if jbb doesn't like the result he'll find a trade for a similar comparable like Oliver wahlstrom

Jon Cooper will be coaching Team Canada at the 2022 Olympics. With the 2 straight cups it would have been hard to choose someone else. Of course this is if the Olympics happen at all for the NHL.

Looks like we have all the pieces we're gonna have for the chance at the threepeat. I have not idea how they're gonna roll this out, I'm a little worried about adding the old guys, if the kids don't get in this year it's gonna be tough moving forward.

How good a cap manager is JBB though? Holy fork.

Injuries are inevitable, especially with the amount of hockey we've played the past year. They'll probably all get plenty of playing time, but our biggest fear should probably be losing one on waivers.

Well, that should conclude our offseason moves. Barring any unforeseen activity from BriseBois I will probably be off CapFriendly regularly until sometime in September.

True. Same argument for Fedotenko. Stats wise he's not there, but 2 goals game seven to clinche. Arguably most clutch player in bolts history?

Depending on how you want to define all-time, he has an argument. I think Bulin and Bishop are a push. Bish was clutch in game 7's.

Former Bolts prospect getting new life with a new team. I was a big fan of Lohin last season for Syracuse, but he understandably went as far as he could go with us. Probably a AHL vet only called up in a real pinch this year.
