every time I see Romanov in a trade proposal I think of the last first round Russian born defenceman that the Habs traded way , Sergachev. Hopefully Bergevin learned a lesson. Nyet to any deal involving Romanov. Besides I think that is too big a haul for PLD.

Montréal wouldn’t be/wasn’t willing to do this when Dubois was available last time. Since then Dubois has been absolute garbage, so what makes you think that Montréal wants him more?

Lol. A few low end players from Montreal that Winnipeg already has better versions of doesn't get you a 1C that you desperately need. Back to you expecting McDavid for Domi.

Romanov is the only thing making this trade even a possibility for Winnipeg and its still a leap of faith.
