Winnipeg isn't spending that much on a rental. If the Jets did go after a rental, they'd be better off using those assets for a defenseman that plays a style they need. Someone like Ekholm.

I think two good prospects and a 2nd covers the retention you're asking for, but what are you going to add to get Wilson and Vanecek?
