Fox is so full of himself if he actually try’s to get that contract. Man already burned two teams just so he could play for his home town smh. I’m not a Flames or Hurricanes fan but I’m not a huge fan of Fox…

He’ll get a bridge, like how Mat Barzal signed a $7x3.

Kakko, Miller, Lafreniere, and Kravtsov aren’t arbitration eligible when their ELCs expire, so some of them might just play on a QO for another season.

For previous context, Tony DeAngelo played under a QO in 2019-20 as he couldn’t file for arbitration in the 2019 offseason

I’d hope he doesn’t do it cause it’d be a crappy thing for him to do.

Yeah it would. He’s already playing for New York after screwing over two teams. He deserves no more than 9 mil…

$9 mil over 8 years seems fair and reasonable. More is excessive to me.

No way the Oilers even consider that trade. And the Fox deal is nuts

Holloway is a great prospect, but Buch is already an established top 6 winger. Something they could use to play with McDavid. Georgiev is a step above Koskinen. Even if I dropped the 1st to a 2nd I don’t think that’s unreasonable at all. Fox one is satire, based on what I’ve heard from other people on here. There’s no chance he gets that much imo.

The Oilers seem focused on adding one or two wingers through free agency or trade and then allowing Holloway at least half a season in the AHL. I think Kosiknen may be traded if they can find a taker with some salary retained. The team will be active this off season and have a fair bit of cap space to make some moves that aren't necessarily trade based.

That’s fine, they aren’t being forced to make the trade. I simply provided a viable trade that addresses two of their needs.

The organization is really high on Holloway so I can't see him being traded. It will be an interesting off season, all around. :-)

I have a feeling he might get hanks contract which was 8.5 million per. That's the number I would shoot for if I was the rangers
