I was thinking something along those lines but it feels slightly too steep. I wonder if DET has the appetite to throw in a sweetener like Rasmussen or Lindstrom.

But is a winger the position to address. Unless we moved Buch this seems redundant. I’d rather try and focus on finding or drafting a center imo.

I feel a move centered around a W to swap out a body. Potentially Kravtsov.

My only concern is the cost to resigning him, might be a little high. I do like his gameplay and style though. If only we picked Necas over Anderson. Then we wouldn’t have any issues at all.

Yep I have to agree but I can see a 4 year deal around $4.25M being suitable for Bertuzzi.

Detroit have no need to trade Bertuzzi at all, if anyone wants to get him they will have to overpay, just like the Mantha deal.

Bert plays top line + PP + PK in Detroit and he plays either wing equally well.

The first criteria for him to be traded is that Detroit gets a 1 for 1 replacement, either from the team that trades for him or from somewhere else, as we don't currently have anyone to replace him with and it'll take at least two years before the few prospects we do have are good enough to do what Bert does. If that criteria is not filled then Bertuzzi will not be traded, under any circumstance.

Considering alot of the players I would be after would be considered untouchable. Probably start around Lundkvist, Schneider or kravtsov then go from there. No reason to trade so the offer has to be something that would blow me away type thing. Maybe adding a guy like Barron or berard.

Maybe a guy like Chytil coming back as well. It's a tough call and alot of people probably don't like the price as he is very valuable to the team. Plays all situations and plays a 200 foot game.

Probably 4x4 is where he might be. Could be a problem in the future as I see the rangers having major cap issues unless they move a guy like trouba out.

He could be deemed expendable at the time when they are in a cap crunch. I'm also not totally sold on kravtsov either. I would love to see Miller come back but I think he's untouchable.

Yeah I don’t think we move Miller at all. He played really well this year and is only like 20-21. Plus I think the long term plan is for him to take the top LD spot next to Fox.

Lindstrom as a sweetener, sure. Rasmussen, not likely. He's maturing into a very useful player.

1 for 1 replacement? No, just sign Hyman.
