I think you’re putting a really shiny spin on the package you’re sending to Detroit. Does woll have upside? Meh. Is Adam brooks an NHL ready center? No. He’s a 25 year old that could serve well as a call up in case of injury. Nothing more. The other kid is an undersized 22 year old in college, who i think just has to wait another year before a team loses his rights (maybe its two years). I don’t think there’s much value there.

I would not move Brooks. He’s an under the radar player with very little value. great two way game and could easily be Toronto’s 3c in the very near future.

Im not really sure Woll moves the needle very much but Abruzzese and the 1st are both pieces that yzerman might like.

I’m still not sold on Bertuzzi though. I mean we just moved kappy out. Is Bertuzzi the best fit?

Only thing you missed, was the whole league could use a bertuzzi, possibly outside of Washington and Vegas

I don't think Detroit agrees to the Petruzzelli for Kerfoot trade as long as the 3rd is there. If Detroit was willing to give up a 3rd for Kerfoot he would already be a Red Wing but this does let Petruzzelli know Toronto is interested in him without breaking any league rules. If Toronto wants Bertuzzi I do think Sandin gets the job done 1 for 1.

Just sign saad, Hyman, or Coleman. No need to trade a hefty package for a guy who’s barely played for two years
