As much as I would love this, Edmonton probably says no imo. Package is probably closer to 3-4FRP, Marner, Robertson, Sandin, Amirov, Woll/Scott, and Rielly

Honestly i’m not sure what a fair trade for him would even look like without gutting key pieces of our roster. Whatever we can dream lol

They have draisaitl and hopkins to play c, really if he demanded a trade this isn’t too bad. Marner is still young enough to get past playoff issues and he’ll score 100 in reg season

I was going to post the exact same thing. I'm not sure if we have any photos with McDavid in Leafs blankets but I'm pretty sure he would strongly consider finishing his career in Toronto. I would expect Tavares to take a Spezza contract to stay on as a bottom six forward for a couple extra years.

I guess after tavares came home never say never. Seeing him play here would be something special

Keep dreaming, there is nothing that is even close. AM, MM 50% retained plus every 1st for the next 20 years and its still a no.
