I don't think it's as hard as you make it out to be. The cap is flat. teams are tight. There are a lot of guys not getting the deals they want and those at the top are still getting raises.
The league is shy in 4-6 million cap growth range. It's felt at the bottom and then the middle. We saw this last year with guys signing dirt cheap deals, especially forwards.
Truth is, I'd rather take that 3.2 mil cap and put it toward pitching for Goodrow or something than waste it on Kassian for 3 years.
Even if that Kassian deal was 1 year, it would be a last ditch effort and there is no way they are making the team worse by taking him in and trading a much better Kap. That's just absurd.
To say that's an "idea" is just ridiculous. I could trade Kap for McDavid and say it's an Idea....but most people would be like no, and that's that.

Good to know, I get your points. I think you get mine. Not gonna keep writing and saying the same things in different ways. and keep reading the same things written different ways.

Well you obviously don't either, Yamamoto is a nice up and coming player who's benefit greatly from Connor McDavid his first season 26 points in 27 games was nice and then he regressed to 21 points in 52 games. he's still not in Bertuzzi's range yet on the worst scoring team in the NHL. Once again Bear is RD our strength is at RD Rodrique tell me what value he has to us another 3rd/4th line tweener and Turris who's a one year cap dump. it has nothing to do with overvaluing Bertuzzi this is a meh offer basically Yamamoto and a bunch of spare parts.

See now i know you have no idea what youre talking about. Yamamoto didnt play with McDavid AT ALL in his first season. Not at all. And yes BEAR is ahead of Seider and Stetcher and Hronek lmao. Good god man !! He had a blip this year because of late contract negotiations running into camp and a concussion. Hes top pairing, his 2019/20 (are better judged) his corsis and stats vs/against elites are/were far better then any Right defenseman or any defenseman period on Detroit. Even Darnell Nurse wowys ticked down slightly when away from Bear. So you probably wouldn't want Nurse either hey? Because you got a bunch of left shots, right. Chicago just tried to pry Bear from Holland for Duncan Keith lmao. (31 thoughts: Friedman) Thank god Kens not out to lunch like some people. And Rodrigue is a GOALIE prospect . And again Turris gets paid 1.65m of which 1.1 can be buried in minors. Hes a 4th line center who gets paid like a 4th line center. Hess a right shot whos over 50% on the dot. Hes much like Glendening. I dont think you know what cap dump means either. From here on out i think its best to ignore you

So i think the bert trade is probably close value wise but i don't love the deal for us. I like bear and yamamoto alot but if I had to trade bert and 2 picks I dont think this would be the deal id do.

    So u think.

That said player, or said use of 3.2M still has to come and sign in pittsburgh or has to be traded for. It’s not just that easy.

Either way, it’s not the point. The point is it’s just another fans idea. As long as the value is realistic then whatever.

U can say u still don’t think the Pens would make that trade but again, it’s not the point.

I just said, to be realistic it would have to be a 1st and Kassian for Kappy in order for this it to even be realistic in my opinion.

    I revised the deal wink

Also i believe Pharrow just simply hates the idea or dislikes Kassian. Ive read, and more then once mind you, by different reporters/writers that 3 teams have shown interest in Kassian. And theyre always the same 3 teams. PITT, NYR and BOS. Its not like im just pulling this idea , as he says, out of the clouds. Also if i haven't read it more then once somewhere i do NOT put it into my trades. Im not just gonna create trades because i like certain players.

you read things and then they get ad money, which is why they put it there for you to read.

It's like rats being trained to run through a burning tube for a piece of cheese.

There is 0 credibility to any of that. None. It's fake news.
Because if they don't say something when there is nothing to say, then there is nothing for the rat to do and hence they don't get no ad money.

Please think through the world you live in before saying such absurd things.
Critical thinking is just lost on people
