Why would you do that Seabrook trade?
Ladd's contract is better than Seabrook, plus you're giving away good assets for nothing in return.

What would the Isles be looking for in a Beauvillier trade? I'd love the Oilers to offer sheet him but maybe they could acquire him via trade? How about 2021 1st and Kahun?

I’d imagine the isles aren’t looking to trade him bc he’s one of the most underrated players in the league. He brings a bit of grit, good shot, good passing, good IQ, etc. It would probably cost 2 firsts and maybe a bit more

I’d say Beauvillier is pretty much untouchable unless a team wants to overpay - something like Holloway+ 1st rd pick. He’s just as important to the isles as Barzal -

As you see, the isles take him to put him on LTIR. It’s basically giving assets for 5 million in cap relief.

Beauviller isn’t going anywhere. He’ll sign for cheap, and he’s very underrated.

The jackets give up a Second in a loaded draft class for a guy who’s 31 and makes 5.5 till 2024? Yeah right, the islanders would have to give up way more to dump that contract.
