That has to be one of the most expensive third lines I’ve ever seen.

Sabres are seeing what it will take for Seattle to take Okposo, but would gladly do Foegele - Miller 1 for 1

I know he’s not even related, but it still feels weird to me to think of a LaFontaine as a goaltender.

The offer is okay, but dealing Dunn for Bean leaves them in the same D protection hard place.

Seems like this is an expansion day deal tho

I like these moves but SEA deal seems a bit light to me, maybe it works tho?

Miller for Foegs is probably about right
First for Dunn is probably about right
Keane to take Gardiner is probably the part that needs more, maybe add a 3rd?

I also feel like Francis is going to driver the hardest stance with Carolina which is why even some of these parts being pretty even seem like it won’t be enough.

Before or after? Before, they both have trouble protecting the guy they just acquired. After, they have to somehow manage to keep those guys. Either way, it;s an issue for both teams.

Can the players SELECTED from other teams (Miller, Dunn) be traded as part of another teams pre-expansion (considerations) trade? I know some of the draft picks and additional players have been involved, but I think the actual players selected need to be made official first. . . (?) . . . I believe they can only be traded after the selection process is complete?? But correct me if I'm wrong.

Would imagine during/after. Why would it be a problem after? Not following

If it's after, both will need to not get taken by Seattle during. That can cost something extra or just be hard to pull off.
