I played provincial hockey in Bantam this year for the best Kent-Sud team since 2006. We almost won a AAA team.

I live in the Maritimes, yet I cheer for Dallas.

Australian who started following hockey because of NHL99. Didn't pick a team until I moved to North America in 2008 and started supporting one of the worst teams in the league because Marty St Louis was the amazing.

I was aspiring to become a pro hockey player played through my school years from elementary to high school but sadly in gr 12 in the championships suffered a career ending injury that ended my pro hockey career before it even started lul.

At least one of my old buddies made it to the SHL lul.

Anyways been a toronto fan since the 90's and a Pittsburgh fan at around the same time got to meet all the old stars, Gilmour, Clark, Sundin, Domi and bumped into AM and MM one day. Also met some old and new Penguin stars to many to count. Cant share all the stories as some be private. But man good times

Born in Tampa, raised in Tampa, still living in Tampa, and naturally a Lightning fan. I seriously started following the Bolts in the Guy Boucher era sometime after the 2011 playoffs and before he was fired.

I have never played a game of ice hockey in my life, but played some terrible 1on1 roller hockey in the street with a neighborhood friend when I was younger. That ended with my wrist in a brace.

Meeting and getting a signature from Tom Pyatt is my lifetime random hockey fact achievement. I should add I picked up a signature from Lightning legend Tyler Johnson at the same event too.

I’ll add to this, I’ve been to 3 NHL games, April 1st 2019 Sens-Lightning ( in Ottawa ), January 3rd 2019 Habs-Canucks ( in Montreal ) that was the game where EP got injured accidentally because of Kk, January 11th 2020 Habs-Sens ( in Ottawa ) that was the game where Kovalchuk scored the OT winner to snap our 8 game losing streak and also there were more Habs than Sens fans in the building

Starting getting into the Blackhawks when I found out my Great Grandma’s cousin was Glenn Hall who was obviously a goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks

Spent one night in a sports bar with about 20 hockey players (Blackhawks and Canucks), some Chicago Bulls (Jordan and Pippen and a few others i didnt know), and lots of local media (vancouver).
A few ancedotes:
Jordan was all muscle...not as tall as i thought- but damn was he solid.
Pippen was a physical freak- like a reverse dwarf- out of proportion.
Roenick- was an ass, full length fur coat? making an entrance like it was a red carpet event wtf!
Joe Murphy was very quiet...kinda odd duck.
Gary Suter- (i wasnt a fan),but he was really cool- just one of the guys. just dont bring up 'the tractor story'
Chris Chelios wanted to deck me - He was one of my favourite players...but i was drunk and his sense of humour was lacking that night.
All hockey players lie about how tall they are. I swear some of them are listed as if they wear skates all the time.
