Montreal is NOT trading for Kuznetsov so that he can influence Romanov and the rest of the young core to become cokeheads!

Those both seem like heavy returns for a guy coming off the past year or two that he has.

Texier and 32 OA or Bremstrom and 20 OA sure, but Kuznetsov isn’t getting 5th OA+ for Kuznetsov.

I thought the same thing. As a Caps fan, I would be pleased with either of those returns.

These weren't my ideas - just a Caps article I found.

I should have assumed that. Defineitly would be either 32 or 20 (probably 32).

Yeah, Kuzy at 4 x $7.8 mil is kind of terrifying. Guy is extremely talented, but there's obviously some character issues there. The return could be further skewed based on who's on his 15 team NTC.

You do realize like half the league does coke right? Like there are multiple players on MTL that do it already. Kuz was just caught on video doing it.

That is a wild accusation and also unfounded! Just because you know your favorite player is not wanted in Montreal is no reason to go around slandering half the league!

    Here you go bud.

No point in MTL trading a young and cheaper C for an expensive Kuzy

How I that proof? Literally the irst 2 articles speculate that the problem COULD BE more widespread than initially thought. Neither of the irst 2 articles have actual supporting data. The first article says coke use is on the rise and that is 6 years old. The second is also 6 years old and literally says "possibly on the rise" in the title. The 3rd I couldn't read as I am not a subscriber to the Athletic.

Okay? You aren't helping your case here. It's obvious a lot of players use coke. The chances that at least a couple players on MTL already do it is high.

Don’t waste your time. There’s a reason the “Kuzy is a cokehead monster who will influence my poor 22 year old players to make bad decisions!!!!11!” Crowd isn’t GMs
