    None of this makes sense. The defense is worse. Glenny already signed a contract extension. Liljegren will 99% take a year in chl to adjust to North American rinks. No idea why St. Louis would even consider it. And I'm not trying to be a dick or anything. But just none of it makes sense

    Liljegren is able to go to the AHL. Why would they put him in the CHL.

    Because it's way easier to adjust and there's no need to rush if he's the defender everyone thinks he is. And can be recalled to ahl if he's that dominant.

    Also you can do these things for 2 seasons past the current season so making a 17-18 roster under the 16-17 season doesn't need to happen

    He is playing against men over in europe and successful proving himself. There is no chance he plays with kids in NA. If thats the team choice, then I would stay put in Europe if I was him.
